As you may have noticed, I scrubbed 14 years of my art history off the site.

It hurt a lot and when it came to the realy old submissions, my husband had to take over the job, because I could not delete it myself.

This site holds a very dear place in my heart. It is true that those who mean the most to you can hurt you the most. I was foolish for thinking deviantart would be run differently from facebook or twitter. I realy thought the art community would provide enough money to keep the site afloat and be a haven for artists in a time where algorithms and AIs try to scrub us from the internet.

I was wrong.

Because enough money is never "enough money" and AI seems to be the next big cash cow.

DA does not need us anymore. They now have AI and a whole lot of people willing to pay to skip "creating" and get to "having" as fast as never before.

Their halfhearted back paddling after stabbing us in the back, after the harm was already done, does nothing for me. It does not change the fact that they sold us in the first place.

I will not delete this account, to still have access to my favorites and to link to my other social media, but I will no longer participate here.

DA will get no more money or artwork from me anymore.

You took a deep fall DA, deeper then facebook or twitter ever could, because I held you in high regards.

Wow, I havent been active here for two years now, but it seems DA got itself together again. ;D I will go and explore all the new features and get back to uploading some recent artwork.

Hello everyone!

It was time to write an update. Last journal I was talking about aaal the wonderfull Cons I wanted to attend this year and now...you know. This puts me in a tough position, as conventions are a big part of my income. I try to compensate with DETERMINATION and love for what I do.

I will be attending the first FeeConline, which is an online convention about roleplay and art. Its held in german because the Feen Con is originaly a german convention. It will be online on discord and twitch on 04.-05.07.2020. You can visit my booth and watch me draw, talk with me or get a scribble drawing done for some bucks. ;) It would be great to have you there!

Hey everyone!

So, I got a table at the eurofurence dealers den! (cheer!) But I have no room at the hotel (duuuuhhh...)

So, I am looking into my options right now, however it turns out, it will be a very difficult eurofurence for me this year. My husband will not be with me, so I need a ride to berlin and I have no one to help me at the convention. To make things worse, I have no room...so I will have to trasport my stuff to the hotel for setup and I have no room to "hide" when things get difficult for me.

But I really dont want to back down this year, I cant always run from thing I am afraid of, so I will try to make things work.

Other conventions are coming up too. I got my approval for the Mephit Mini Con and Stuttgarter Comic Con and I am looking forward both!

I plan to go to EAST too, the registration starts on the 26th, so hold thumbs for me. :) I will need at least a ticket and a place at the DD to make it there. I could handle the hotel, but the DD is obligatory. Hopefully it will work out! v.v

I hope to get a table at the Frankfurter Buchmesse this year, but they are tight on tables, so its sadly not likely.

And I tried to get a table at Hanami Ludwigshafen but havent heard back from them. Its normal for them to take their time with applications so I have to wait and hope.

CosDay will be held this year again and I would love to participate, but the orga for the artists changed and they havent opended the artists application system so far.

I am looking for other conventions too! So if you now a Convention in germany that still accepts artists, I would love to hear it! I would like to participate on roleplay and fantasy conventions too, but just have no idea which one would be a good start and how to get in.

I realy try to get used to eclipse, sadly most of the time it does not work correctly in my browser, so its a bit of a pain. :')

I tried to clear my inbox: Is there a way to just nuke (delete) all fav notifications?

Because I could not find one and deleting every single one by hand would take me an hour o.o

And this can not be intentional, so I am missing something, do I?
